You can unlock new restaurants using Stars, which are gained by beating previous levels. Each level has THREE Stars to earn, but earning the second and third Stars is successively more difficult than the first! Unlocking new restaurants often requires replaying previous levels on harder difficulties. You can monitor the Stars you have earned so far by clicking on a locked restaurant - that will tell you how many more Stars you need to earn!
